January 24 - 26 Black Notes Project - Charlotte
The festival debuted in 2024 to celebrate Black music and artistry. The 2025 edition focuses on jazz and will feature three evening concerts and two daytime concerts, including one family-friendly show featuring the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra. The show by Danish pianist Sir Niels Lan Doky is titled "Purple is a Beautiful Thing: A Jazz Celebration of Prince" and is to be hosted by Prince's former wife, Mayte Garcia.
